Adventure Basics Camp 
For: Ages 9-13
Date: July 24-28, 2017
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Fee: $150.00

This camp will be focused on local small adventure opportunities.  Over the five day camp we will look to complete the following:

Day 1 -Rock Climbing at Cliffside Climbing Gym

Day 2 - Hike

Day 3 - Mountain Bike Day (campers must bring own bike and helmet)

Day 4 - Learing and using a compass and map then orienteering a hike around Kenna Cartwright Park Area/TRU Camps

Day 5 - Scavenger Hike around campus followed by how to set up a mini camp site and finish with a fun water fight!

>Drop off and pick up will occur at the TRU Gym
>An email reminder will be sent to you 1 week prior to the start of camp
>All camps are NUT FREE - please do not provide your campers with any snacks containing nuts

What To Bring: 
Please arrive ready to play and bring the following with you every day to camp: Runners, Snack, Lunch (for Full Day Campers), Water Bottle, Sunscreen, Change of Clothes and Swimsuit/Towel on Fridays

Refund Policy: If for any reason a camper cannot attend a camp after registration is completed TRU Sport Camps reserve the right to hold back 20% of the billed total.  If a camper cannot attend after they have started a camp the days they participated in will be non-refundable.
Discounts: Are offered for multiple week registrations and to TRU Staff members when using your tru.ca email address. Discounts will be credited upon check out.
Disclaimer: By accepting this statement you will have certain legal rights.  I agree that Thompson Rivers University and/or proprietors will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss however caused and agree to release same from all claims or damages which may arise as a result, or by any reason of participation.  I am aware that participation in recreation and athletics activity involves risk of personal injury.  Coordinator reserves the right to refuse further participation to any camper for inappropriate behaviors.  I understand any photos or video taken of the camper during the current camp season may be used in current or future camp promotional ventures.
